Women in Horror Campaign – The George A. Romero Foundation
Creative Director & Campaign Manager
In 2024, the George A. Romero Foundation launched its annual Women in Horror campaign in celebration of Women's History Month—honoring the vital contributions of women to the horror genre. As Creative Director and campaign manager, my priority was to uphold the Foundation’s mission by spotlighting emerging filmmakers and artists. We also hosted exclusive interviews with genre icons Heather Langenkamp, Eileen Dietz, and Naomi Grossman.
In 2025, we expanded the campaign’s reach through dynamic social media content and introduced a short horror film contest. Women were invited to submit their original short films for a chance to be featured. The month culminated in a virtual Q&A with the winning filmmakers, hosted by HorrorX’s Teri Gamble and Julia Marchese.
